This year, the Vice Presidents' match will take place on Saturday 16th of July 2022.
As part of the day, and the week leading up to the match, the Club will be supporting the Pink Ribbon Foundation, a grant-making trust with a mission to fund projects and provide financial support to UK charities which relieve the needs of people who are suffering from, have been affected by breast cancer, or who work to advance the understanding of breast cancer and its early detection and treatment.
The Charity has been specifically chosen given the support it has provided some people very close to the Club.
The match itself completes Brightlingsea Cricket Club's mini Cricket Week.
Players and members of the public can support the event by purchasing raffle tickets and by ordering a limited edition pink Players' Cap from the Club.
The Club would like to pass on its sincere gratitude to our merchandise provider, MyIcon Branding, for producing the caps at cost, as all proceeds from the sales will be going towards the charity.
