Welcome to the website of Brightlingsea Cricket Club.
Situated on the North Essex Coast, the Club has been supporting the community for over a hundred years.
We are a family-friendly, community-based club dedicated to the game of cricket.
We have two senior teams; a Saturday XI playing in the Marshall Hatchick Two Counties League and a Sunday XI playing in the North Essex Cricket League's T30 competition.
Our thriving youth section caters for all children of all abilities.
We are also a Disability Cricket Champion Club, as well as a registered charity.
Our facilities are also utilised by our friends at The Railway Tavern.
Please have a look around and, if you have any questions, get in touch; brightlingseacricketclub@gmail.com

Community Based
We support a thriving Junior players' programme, with Colts' Cricket and very busy Kwik Cricket sessions, supporting the youngest members of the Club.
Our recent ‘COVID Bounce Back 2021’ crowdfunding appeal to improve our facilities saw the Club supported by a wide range of local businesses and individuals. This allowed us to receive additional funding from Sport England and the National Lottery.
We were also fortunate enough to receive a very generous donation from the Brightlingsea & District Rotary Club.
All donations allow us to improve facilities for our upcoming superstars!

Cricket for all
While we play every game to win, our first aim is to enjoy our cricket. We welcome players of all shapes, sizes and talents, whether they want to play one game a season or twenty games.
Our commitment to all members of our local community has recently been recognised by the England & Wales Cricket Board (ECB) approving us to become a Disability Cricket Champion Club. In the coming months, we will be developing our provision for disabled people of all ages in our area.
On a match day, and during Kwik Cricket training, the club house bar is always open, so why not come down, have a drink and support your local cricket club.
If you would like to get involved please contact us via email.
